Overview

The Senior QHSE Officer at School Transport Services LLC (STS) will be pivotal in enhancing our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards. This role manages and continuously improves the Integrated Management System (IMS) for STS Group. We seek an exceptionally organised and experienced professional who can lead the development of a comprehensive QHSE program, fostering a culture of QHSE excellence across the organisation. The Senior QHSE Officer will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and quality of our services, particularly in the Road Traffic Management System.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in the field of QHSE domain
  • Graduate degree with Level 6 diploma (NEBOSH) or CSP
  • Professional Membership – CertIOSH
  • ISO 9001, 45001 and 45001 Lead auditor preferred
  • Strong analytical and MS Office skills
  • Excellent training and report writing skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, innovative, self-driven, confident, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in conducting audits, crafting detailed reports, and proposing corrective actions
Essential Experiences
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in transportation operations, three (3) years of which must be in a QHSE or similar role
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate within the team effectively
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multicultural teams, leveraging cultural differences for cohesive and effective operations
  • Must have a working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of Quality
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives related to QHSE, guiding teams through transitions and ensuring successful adoption of new processes
  • Exposure to Six Sigma methodologies will be an added advantage
