Job summary

An automotive company in Dubai is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to oversee the end-to-end vehicle Quality Control process. The role involves conducting inspections, managing incident reports, and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before delivery. Candidates should have at least 13 years of QC experience in the automotive sector and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering. Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite and SAP is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • 13 years hands-on QC/Inspection experience within an automotive import dealership or fleet management environment.
  • Proficient with ERP/warehouse systems ideally NetSuite and SAP and MS Office; SharePoint familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare variant & variantlist packs for every inbound shipment.
  • Conduct QC inspections on arrival assessing damages accidents or missing parts.
  • Upload GRN photos, specification checklists, PDI/GDN photos and QC reports to NS SharePoint.
  • Ensure real-time accuracy of receiving changes and PDI status dashboards.
  • Derive PDI lists and perform document PDI for every vehicle before delivery.

Job description
Job Purpose

Own the endtoend vehicle Quality Control process from receiving the vehicles to predelivery inspection (PDI) incident management fleet maintenance and vendor oversight ensuring every Milele vehicle meets quality specifications safety standards and brand expectations before handover to customers or internal stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare variant & variantlist packs for every inbound shipment.
  • Conduct QC inspections on arrival assessing damages accidents or missing parts; prepare incident reports and circulate them to management procurement finance warehouse logistics and vehicle procurement within 24 hours.
  • Upload GRN photos specification checklists PDI/GDN photos and QC reports to NS SharePoint and Central Hub.
  • Ensure realtime accuracy of receiving changes WO/VE followups and PDI status dashboards
  • Derive PDI lists from WOs; schedule perform and document PDI for every vehicle before delivery.
  • Run monthly and random QC checks on the company fleet; advise Warehouse on repair needs battery health and serviceability.
  • Support Parts Procurement with technical input and onsite vendor visits reporting workinprogress status to Warehouse.
  • Develop critical handling guidelines for the Warehouse to minimize instock damage.
  • Train cleaners & drivers on safe batteryterminal removal and vehiclehandling best practices.
  • Lead monthly showroomstock audits and elevate preventive actions.
