Job summary

Bitcoin Suisse AG is seeking a hands-on Senior QA Engineer to strengthen quality across a portfolio of applications and workflows. You will work with engineers, product owners and stakeholders across teams, shaping how features are tested from refinement through release, focusing on risk-based testing and maintainable automation in a CI environment.

Qualifications

Significant hands-on QA experience testing complex applications and integrations.
Strong testing judgment: select techniques based on risk and explain what remains untested.
Practical experience designing and maintaining automated tests in a modern development and CI environment.
Experience with C#/.NET and at least one browser automation framework (Selenium or Playwright).
Experience testing APIs and service integrations using Swagger or Postman.
Familiarity with BDD and Gherkin; Reqnroll or SpecFlow is an advantage.
Experience with CI pipelines and test reporting; Azure DevOps is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Partner with product and engineering teams during refinement to clarify acceptance criteria and testability.
Create a risk-based test approach for features and end-to-end workflows spanning multiple applications and services.
Perform exploratory and structured manual testing to find defects.
Build and maintain automated tests with focus on API and integration coverage and critical UI journeys.
Extend and improve our C#/.NET test suites and BDD scenarios using Selenium or Playwright where meaningful coverage.
Integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for fast feedback and diagnose flaky tests.
Use API contracts and tools like Swagger and Postman to investigate behavior and validate integrations.
Investigate defects with engineers and contribute to root-cause analysis.
