Job summary

Astek Middle East in Dubai seeks an experienced QA Engineer to ensure quality for enterprise-level eCommerce airline solutions. You will design, execute, and automate test cases across web and mobile platforms, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, automation using Selenium WebDriver, and participation in requirements reviews to improve testability and release quality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with test planning, functional, UI, and regression testing.
• Selenium WebDriver mandatory for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of HTML and XML.
• Basic SQL knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Implement and execute the QA strategy for eCommerce airline websites and mobile apps.
• Participate in requirements and specification reviews to ensure testability.
• Create and maintain traceability between business requirements and test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or similar tools.
• Prepare test environments and test data required for execution.
• Execute functional, regression, UI, and integration testing.
• Validate software releases and provide Go/No-Go recommendations.
• Report, track, and verify defects with development teams.
• Maintain and improve the regression test repository.
• Support UAT activities with customers.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
