We are looking for Python Developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our AI-driven skin analysis platform. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize backend services and data processing pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability of our core technology.

About the product

Haut.AI is an innovative SaaS product that automates the collection of high-quality skin data. We help skincare brands provide skin testing and build interactive product recommendations on e-commerce platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and further develop the primary codebase and document the backend systems of the systems while ensuring that these systems are kept robust and scalable as well as easy to maintain and debug.
• Identify and fix the technical bottlenecks that arise while still defining and iterating a technical framework for the long term.
• Work closely with the product owners to ensure that the technical aspects of the product are aligned with the vision of the product as determined with the project managers.
• Assist with the team’s improvement initiatives by helping with the backend part of the system and suggesting improvements as part of the feedback which helps to elevate the standards.
• Make informed decisions on the architecture and the tech stack by selecting the appropriate tools and components to develop systems that are robust and will last for a long time.
• Coordinate and motivate the team to ensure that the agreed milestones are achieved on time and that the code quality is still maintained on all levels.
• Share and document business goals and system decisions that help to simplify and eliminate ambiguity around the decisions that need to be made in a system.
• Take the backend requirements and business goals and transform them for engineers to take actionable steps.
• Maintain the engineering standards by ensuring that the quality of the code, testing, and performance of the systems is set to the highest level, and the standards are met by the team.
• Forecast possible technical pitfalls, communicate them as early as possible and come up with actionable steps to mitigate them so the team is protected from potential issues.

What will help you thrive in this role:

• 5+ years of practical experience in backend development, with deep expertise in Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Django. Skilled in designing, developing, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs.
• Proven hands‑on experience in product development within a product‑led environment, aligning technical solutions with business goals.
• Strong background in containerization and cloud platforms, with practical experience using Kubernetes and deploying/managing services on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Extensive experience in defining, implementing, and enforcing coding standards and best practices across teams, fostering a clean code culture.
• Solid foundation in modern software engineering practices, including automated testing, version control, and continuous delivery. Well‑versed in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Agentic AI architectures
• Proficient in data architecture and storage design, with the ability to choose the most suitable data store for a given context. Skilled with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Being an effective communicator and analytical thinker, able to collaborate seamlessly with engineering and product leadership.
• Self‑motivated problem solver with strong teamwork and collaboration skills, consistently driving projects forward with efficiency and impact.
