General Description

This role is responsible for the execution and delivery of all project operations in accordance with contractual requirements, company standards, and project guidelines. The incumbent will manage multiple project sites simultaneously, ensuring efficient planning, resource allocation, and cost‑effective execution. The role requires consolidating accurate system history reports, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and ensuring all activities are recorded in the Resource Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all operational works across multiple project sites from handover to closure, including mobilization, procurement, installation, commissioning, monitoring, and demobilization.
  • Ensure all work activities are executed in accordance with the approved Method Statement, contractual scope, best practices, and client obligations; report any variances to the Line Manager prior to execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date and complete project documentation, including:
  • Delivery Notes
  • Installation Reports
  • Start/Stop/Damage Reports
  • As‑Built Drawings
  • Manpower Records
  • Daily Activity Reports
  • System History Reports
  • Toolbox Talks
  • Deliver regular reports to the Line Manager:
  • Project Status Report – Daily
  • Project Profitability Report – Weekly
  • Manpower Allocation/Requirements – Monthly
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required and participate in client and internal project review meetings.
  • Ensure efficient resource utilization and optimal team performance across all assigned projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all site operations, supporting the Line Manager with technical and engineering inputs.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and QHSE standards at all times.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct any other tasks or projects assigned by the direct line manager.
Qhse
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the Company’s QHSE policies and ensure compliance at all sites.
  • Promote a zero‑tolerance culture toward unsafe practices and ensure immediate reporting of hazards to the Safety Officer.
  • Review project specifications and continuously monitor work quality to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Report any defects, errors, or variations to the Line Manager and ensure completion of all quality checklists.
Cross Functional Support / Training
  • Set direction, assign responsibilities, and oversee development plans for team members.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager during the tendering stage to review or prepare contracts and method statements, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer to the execution team.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to mitigate project risks and resolve contractual or execution‑related issues.
  • Assist the Line Manager in preparing a rolling six‑month manpower plan and justify resource requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of data, records, and reports necessary for monthly project billing.
  • Conduct any other tasks or projects assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • A qualification in Surveying / Engineering or MRICS certification is an asset.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience in groundwater control and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; able to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good computer proficiency and ability to prepare and deliver detailed project reports.
  • Valid driving license; willingness to travel between project sites.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
