About the role

As a Senior Project Director, you will be responsible for the end-to-end strategic planning, commercial success, and seamless execution of a major multi-zone festival in the Middle East. You'll work closely with the Account Director and Senior Operations Director and oversee two core delivery teams—one for the Family Activation Village, and one for the wider festival site.

A key focus of this role is the management and optimization of all revenue-generating areas such as ticketing, sponsorship, retail, and vendor income. You will lead from the front, owning project-wide delivery while ensuring financial performance, stakeholder alignment, and cultural integrity.

What You’ll Do

Project Planning – Own and manage the festival’s master project plan across all functions and teams.

Team Management – Lead two dedicated delivery teams covering key festival zones.

Commercial Oversight – Plan, monitor, and optimise income from ticketing, sponsorship, vendors, F&B, and retail.

Budget Management – Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, and reconciliation.

Performance Monitoring – Set and track KPIs, timelines, and resource plans.

Client Interface – Lead high-level meetings and communications with clients, stakeholders, and authorities.

Festival Delivery – Oversee programming, activations, ticketing, and partner engagement.

Team Collaboration – Align commercial, creative, production, and operational efforts.

Reporting & Documentation – Ensure timely, clear, and client-ready reports and files.

Live Event Support – Work intensively during the live period, including weekends and holidays, to ensure smooth delivery.

About You

Experience – 10+ years of senior project leadership in large-scale events or festivals.

Commercial Acumen – Strong track record in managing revenue streams from ticketing, sponsorship, and vendors.

Financial Control – Experienced in budget ownership, forecasting, and reporting.

Leadership – Skilled in managing cross-functional teams and high-pressure environments.

Stakeholder Management – Confident working with senior clients, government bodies, and diverse teams.

Communication – Clear, strategic, and engaging in both written and verbal communications.

What You Need to Apply
