Dell Technologies is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer - AI Networking Solutions Architect to design, deploy, and support large-scale AI network infrastructure for diverse client engagements. You will lead cross-functional teams, influence architecture, and ensure high-value outcomes for customers.

The role requires deep networking expertise, experience with AI/GPU infrastructure, and strong communication skills to guide customers and internal teams through complex deployments.

Competenze

• Five+ years in IT/Data Centre environments as an IT professional.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale AI network infrastructures.
• Strong networking knowledge: L3 BGP EVPN, IP switching/routing, firewalls and security.
• Experience with NVIDIA InfiniBand, Ethernet technologies.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA networking tech: Quantum InfiniBand, Spectrum-X, MLNX-OS, and NVIDIA Cumulus OS.
• Experience with third-party networking equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Extreme).
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in dynamic environments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills; excellent communication.
• Valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the services delivery team, you will collaborate with Dell consultants, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to design, deploy, optimize, and support large-scale AI network infrastructure solutions, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction throughout each phase of the engagement.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Lead the deployment and integration of AI network infrastructure solutions utilizing NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel technologies.
• Coordinate the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations, ensuring that full life cycle delivery costs are within the service level agreement.
• Proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact, facilitating continuous improvement.
• Build and sustain effective communications with all partners and cross-functional teams, maximizing the customer experience and relationships
• Collaborate with clients to assess technical requirements and deliver customized infrastructure solutions.
• Willing to tackles ambiguous, cross-organisational problems where the solutions are not yet clear.
• Influence architecture and strategy across multiple programs, products, or organisations.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Five or more years of working full-time as an IT professional in a Data Centre environment.
• Proven success in designing and deploying large-scale AI network infrastructures.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of networking concepts: IP Switching and Routing, networking experience up to and including L3 BGP eVPN Data Centre technologies, Firewalls and Security products.
• Implementation of advanced networking solutions, including NVIDIA InfiniBand and Ethernet technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in NVIDIA networking technologies: InfiniBand (Quantum), Ethernet (Spectrum-X), MLNX-OS, NVIDIA Cumulus OS, and Enterprise SONiC.
• Experience with one or more 3rd party networking vendor equipment, such as Cisco Networks, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks and Extreme Networks.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects independently and deliver results within dynamic environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience with communications, wide and local area networking.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills and most importantly soft skills when dealing with customers.
• Ability to source information from users, vendors and colleagues and deliver it to the required audience.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills to effectively document routine technical problems, and to summarize the problems for various clients, including business and technical clients.
• Strong ability to prioritize routine administrative tasks and to complete assigned duties within set deadline.
• Ability to perform systems analysis and information gathering.
• Possess a valid driver's license
