Job summary

Egis Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Planning Manager to oversee large scale port construction projects. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a similar role within the UAE.

You will develop detailed schedules, coordinate with site teams and authorities, manage risks, and report progress to clients and authorities to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Planning Manager role on large UAE projects.
• Experience on port construction projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Office with risk analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Coordinate with site engineers, procurement and subcontractors to align with baseline.
• Prepare look-ahead programs and progress reports; mitigate delays.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress against plans in Abu Dhabi.
• Analyze critical path and resource allocation to optimize timelines.
• Present updates in project progress meetings to management.
