Job summary

MediaSource FZC is seeking a qualified MST Technician – Plumbing / Plumber to maintain and repair hydraulic and plumbing systems across assigned properties in Abu Dhabi. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, water tanks, and expansion vessels, respond to emergencies, and guide junior staff.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical systems qualification, UAE driving license, and at least 6 years of plumbing experience in facilities management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or professional certification in Mechanical Systems.
• Valid UAE Driver’s License.
• Health and Safety qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Plumber in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing installations, pumps, control panels, hydraulics, water distribution, water tanks and water quality control systems.
• Hands-on plumbing expertise with ability to manage complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and repair complex hydraulic and plumbing issues across assigned sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, expansion vessels, and water tanks as per maintenance schedules.
• Attend and resolve plumbing and mechanical emergencies, including on-call duties.
• Identify technical improvements for plumbing and mechanical systems and recommend enhancements to the Operations Manager.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed by the Maintenance Team.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operations and maintenance staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of emergency actions, maintenance work, parts/tools required, and completion reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
