Job summary

A leading engineering company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to oversee planning and scheduling for Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in project controls and be proficient in Primavera P6. Responsibilities include coordinating with project stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to reporting standards. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, ensuring that all engineering deliverables are executed timely and in line with project requirements.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in Planning/Project Controls for Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in engineering phase planning and control.
• Good understanding of engineering deliverables and document control logic.

Responsibilities

• Report progress to the Project Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with Contractors Project Planning Manager for project control.
• Prepare and issue progress reports per project requirements.
