Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Stress Engineer to perform stress analysis and ensure design integrity for onshore oil and gas projects. The role requires a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in pipeline engineering, proficiency in AutoPIPE and CAESAR II, and strong knowledge of international codes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing stress models, conducting flexibility analysis, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design challenges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in pipeline/piping stress engineering.
• Proven experience in FEED detailed design and detailed engineering.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO).

Responsibilities

• Perform pipeline stress analysis using AutoPIPE and CAESAR II.
• Develop stress models for pipelines and piping systems.
• Conduct flexibility analysis to ensure safety and reliability.
• Prepare and review deliverables including stress analysis reports.
• Interface with teams to resolve design challenges.
