Job summary

AVENTA in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced pipeline precommissioning engineer to deliver office-based precommissioning and commissioning for regional pipeline projects. You will prepare procedures, calculations and dossiers, and support remote execution across projects in the region.

The role requires senior expertise (10+ years) in pipeline precommissioning, with offshore/ GCC regional experience beneficial; office/hybrid work in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Senior / expert (10+ years) in pipeline precommissioning and commissioning engineering.
• Precommissioning procedures and calculations experience.
• Office-based engineering delivery for oil and gas pipeline projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop precommissioning and commissioning procedures for pipelines.
• Prepare precommissioning calculations and philosophies.
• Define and size precommissioning equipment and spreads.
• Prepare equipment specifications and interfaces with disciplines.
• Prepare precommissioning dossiers, ITPs and test packs.
• Support execution and provide remote technical assistance to site.
• Compile records and close-out documentation and resolve NCRs.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
