Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior PIMS Engineer to architect and integrate PI system solutions, Exaquantum and related interfaces. You will own data architectures, dashboards and KPI reporting while coordinating FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 8+ years in PI/plant information systems, strong SQL and Windows Server skills, and proven customer-facing communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Instrumentation or related engineering field.
• Minimum 8 years in PIMS or plant information systems.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, refining, petrochemicals or utilities.
• Ability to engineer and troubleshoot PI/Exaquantum solutions independently.
• Strong communication with customers in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and develop system architectures, designs, and interfaces.
• Configure PI Data Archive, interfaces, Exaquantum, ExaOPC; integrate plant data via OPC DA/UA.
• Develop PI AF structures, analyses, dashboards and KPI reports.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, startup and handover activities.
• Coordinate with DCS, networking and vendor teams.
• Review deliverables and guide junior engineers; ensure safety and change control.
