Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Petrophysical Engineer to lead data collection, analysis, and evaluation of petrophysical datasets for reserves definition and exploration reviews.

You will coordinate lab data interpretation, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality output across reports and proposals. The role requires deep knowledge of petrophysical software, SCAL, and field operations within an oil & gas context.

Qualifications

• 9 years of varied experience in petrophysical engineering.
• Experience with lab data interpretation and petrophysical software.
• Knowledge of field and office workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead interpretation and evaluation of petrophysical data to determine hydrocarbon presence and rock properties.
• Quality control of log and core data; coordinate SCAL programs and correlate data across fields.
• Reconcile SCAL data from different contractors to ensure data compatibility.
• Prepare SOWs for petrophysical studies and assist in technical tender evaluations.
• Prepare reports and integrate petrophysical findings into team decisions and management briefs.
• Assist with well proposals and logging/testing operations; select tool strings and acquisition sequences.
• Advise on well completion, casing depths and cementation quality for surveys.
