A leading renewable energy firm is seeking a Performance Engineer to manage optimization and technical support for large-scale projects such as solar PV and wind. The role involves developing performance tracking tools, evaluating plant performance, and ensuring compliance with technical standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Renewable Energy, a Master's degree is a plus, and at least 6 years of relevant experience in the renewable sector, particularly in solar and wind power plants.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of performance engineering experience in renewable energy sector.
• Chartered Engineer status (e.g. IET, EUR Ing, PEng) is desirable.
• Experience in data analytics and programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization and technical support activities for renewable energy projects.
• Develop in-house performance tracking tools for assets.
• Evaluate plant performance and compare against contractual guarantees.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Fluency with Python, MATLAB or similar data analysis tools
