Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist to provide evidence-based respiratory care for infants to adolescents, diagnosing and managing a broad range of pediatric pulmonary conditions and collaborating with pediatricians, intensivists and other specialists in a Dubai hospital setting.

The role requires consultant-level expertise, DHA licensing eligibility in Dubai, and the ability to perform pulmonary investigations and procedures, develop

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics is required.
• Subspecialty qualification in Pediatric Pulmonology/Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine preferred.
• Board certification or internationally recognized specialist qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level pediatric pulmonary consultations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Diagnose and manage pediatric respiratory conditions including asthma, infections, CF, and sleep-related disorders.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary investigations such as pulmonary function tests.
• Undertake or supervise procedures like bronchoscopy where credentialed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing follow-up.
• Counsel children and caregivers on diagnosis, prognosis, medications and long-term care.
• Coordinate care with pediatric ICU, ENT, allergy/immunology, cardiology and radiology.
