Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. is seeking a Consultant Physician with Pediatric Orthopedic specialization to oversee clinical activities and lead junior medical staff.

The role requires adhering to hospital policies, ensuring appropriate patient care, and supporting performance management within the division. Qualified candidates hold MBBS or equivalent and a Pediatric Orthopedic specialization, with 5+ years post-specialization experience and a valid DOH license or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialization in Pediatric Orthopedic.
• American Board, CCT UK, Australian Board, any Western Board, Fellowship or additional certification in Pediatric Orthopedic.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Orthopedic.
• Valid DOH (Department of Health - Abu Dhabi) License or eligibility.
• Experience working within JCI-accredited hospitals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports, implements, and follows all hospital, departmental and divisional initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Helps lead and implement the organization’s performance management system, including peer review and the productivity and utilization review processes.
• Participates in the organization’s performance management system, including peer review and the productivity and utilization review processes.
• Assists with scheduling and supports the Division Chief in ensuring that adequate medical coverage is provided within the Division at all times.
• Attends Divisional meetings as required.
• Assists the Division Chief in the recruitment of new medical staff when appropriate.
• Assumes other administrative or clinical duties as requested by the Division Chief.
