Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Pediatric Emergency Physician in Dubai to lead care for urgent and life‑threatening pediatric emergencies. You will oversee resuscitation, stabilization, and multidisciplinary coordination across departments in a high‑acuity setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Emergency Medicine specialists with recognized Pediatric Emergency subspecialty training may also be considered.
• Appropriate UAE Consultant License or eligibility to obtain the required professional license.
• Minimum 5-7 years of post‑board consultant experience in pediatric emergency medicine.
• Strong clinical experience within tertiary‑care pediatric emergency departments.
• PALS/ACLS/ATLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute pediatric emergencies across medical, surgical, and trauma pathways.
• Provide immediate stabilization for critically ill or injured children.
• Lead advanced pediatric resuscitation during life‑threatening emergencies.
• Perform airway management and endotracheal intubation when required.
• Conduct lumbar puncture procedures for appropriate diagnostics.
• Provide procedural sedation for emergency interventions requiring pain control.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and supervise junior physicians.
• Maintain clear documentation and handovers for safe patient movement.
