Job summary

Allocation Assist in the UAE is seeking a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah. The successful candidate will provide specialized pediatric endocrine care for infants to adolescents, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered treatment in line with international standards.

The role requires MBBS and Board Certification in Pediatric Endocrinology, MOH UAE license or eligibility, and 5–7 years post-board experience in a tertiary care setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by MOH UAE.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Valid MOH UAE Consultant License or Eligibility Letter.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric endocrine disorders including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, obesity, and pubertal abnormalities.
• Conduct comprehensive endocrine evaluations and interpret hormonal and metabolic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide long-term follow-up care.
• Manage pediatric diabetes programs including insulin therapy, pumps, and CGM.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for pediatric endocrine cases.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, dietitians, neonatologists, geneticists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease management and treatment adherence.
• Maintain accurate medical records in MOH UAE compliance.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, research and CME programs.
