Job summary

Harjai Computers is seeking an experienced OutSystems-focused developer in Dubai to architect and build enterprise applications using OutSystems 11/ODC. You will lead technical design, mentor teams, and drive API integrations with REST, SOAP, and SAP connectors.

The role requires deep proficiency in OutSystems tools, databases, and agile practices, with hands-on experience in LifeTime deployments and cloud platforms. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on the OutSystems platform.
• OutSystems Associate or Professional Developer certification (required); Architect certification is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and LifeTime.
• Hands-on experience with OutSystems 11 (O11); experience with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API development, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop enterprise applications using OutSystems platform (O11/ODC).

• Mentor junior and mid-level developers; participate in sprint planning as SME.

• Manage deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production; monitor performance.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Architect, design, and develop complex enterprise applications using the OutSystems platform (O11 and/or ODC).
• Build responsive web and mobile applications following OutSystems best practices and design patterns.
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain reusable components, modules, and integrations in Forge or internal libraries.

Integration & APIs

• Integrate OutSystems applications with third-party systems via REST, SOAP, and SAP connectors.
• Design and expose APIs consumed by external systems and mobile applications.
• Work with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud) where applicable.

Technical Leadership

• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, architecture governance, and OutSystems AI Mentor guidelines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
• Lead technical design sessions and produce architecture documents, data models, and flow diagrams.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies as a technical SME.

Quality & DevOps

• Implement unit testing, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using LifeTime and relevant tooling.
• Manage deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Prior experience on the IID (Invest in Dubai) project will be given preference and priority during the candidate evaluation and selection process.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on the OutSystems platform.

• Background in mobile application development using OutSystems Mobile or ODC.
• Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, government) is a plus.
