Job summary

SearchPlus HR is assisting a leading healthcare organization in the UAE to recruit Consultant/Specialist Orthopedic Surgeons. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, performing elective and emergency surgeries, and developing patient-centered treatment plans.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Postgraduate credentials such as UK CCT/FRCS, American Board, Australian Board/FRACS, or SA specialist qualification are encouraged to apply.
• Strong post-specialist clinical and surgical experience.
• Experience in hospital or tertiary healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Manage fractures, trauma, joint disorders, sports injuries and degenerative conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative follow-up.
• Collaborate with radiology, anesthesia, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and other specialties.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to development of orthopedic services within the organization.
