Job summary

Bourntec Solutions is seeking an Oracle EPM EPBCS & FCCS Senior Consultant for a permanent role in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the client’s Finance team and the implementation partner, ensuring alignment of architecture with business requirements and Oracle EPM best practices.

The role requires strong administration skills, post-production support, and the ability to drive continuous improvement of the EPM application.

Qualifications

• Experience acting as liaison between finance teams and delivery partners.
• Ability to review architecture against business requirements and Oracle EPM best practices.
• Experience validating business rules, calculations, data integrations, and security configurations.
• Familiarity with Oracle EPM administration and monitoring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between client finance teams and the implementation partner for EPBCS/FCCS.
• Review solution architecture to ensure alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Validate rules, calculations, data loads, security, and design prior to deployment.
• Provide post-production support and application stability.
• Perform daily Oracle EPM administration including user management and metadata maintenance.
• Implement enhancements as finance processes evolve to reduce external dependency.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Oracle or partners when needed.
• Capture and retain knowledge within the client organization.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the EPM application.
• Serve as SME and guide finance users on best practices.
• Support cross-utilization for FCCS where required.

Job Description: -

• Acting as the primary liaison between the Client’s Finance team and the implementation partner Constellation Consulting Group for EPBCS & FCCS

• Reviewing and validating the implementation partner's solution architecture to ensure alignment with business requirements and Oracle EPM best practices.

• Validating business rules, calculations, data integrations, security configurations, and overall application design prior to deployment.

• Developing complete ownership and in-depth knowledge of the Oracle EPM solution to ensure a smooth transition once the implementation partner's engagement concludes.

• Providing post-production support by resolving user issues and ensuring application stability.

• Performing day-to-day Oracle EPM administration, including security and user management, metadata maintenance, business rule management, data loads and integrations, and overall application monitoring.

• Implementing system enhancements as Finance processes evolve, reducing dependency on external consultants.

• Troubleshooting system issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating with Oracle or the implementation partner when required.

• Ensuring knowledge is retained internally within client to minimize long-term reliance on external consultants.

• Driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize both business processes and the EPM application.

• Serving as the internal Oracle EPM Subject Matter Expert (SME) and providing guidance to Finance users on best practices.

• Supporting cross-utilization of the resource for FCCS where required.
