Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to support enterprise AI initiatives in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes Python development, MCP integration, and building scalable AI-enabled applications within an enterprise context.

You will collaborate with architects, product teams, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver modern, cloud‑native solutions using Python and full‑stack technologies, applying best practices throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6‑7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on development experience using Python (Mandatory).
• Proven experience working with Model Context Protocol (MCP) (Mandatory).
• Experience developing enterprise‑scale applications and platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade full‑stack applications.
• Build and optimize backend services using Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Develop scalable and maintainable frontend and backend components.
• Integrate AI and Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Implement and support solutions utilizing Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and solution architectures.
• Develop APIs and microservices to support distributed applications.
• Participate in application performance tuning, testing, and optimization activities.
• Support cloud‑native application deployments and integrations.
• Ensure adherence to security, quality, and software development best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
