Job summary

KBR - Inhouse Engineering in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer for onshore projects. You will lead development, checking and justification of civil and structural designs for oil and gas facilities.

Ideal candidates have 10–12 years in civil/structural engineering within the oil & gas or petrochemical sector, with FEED, Detailed Engineering and EPC exposure. Strong leadership and code compliance are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
10–12 years of Civil/Structural experience in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is a plus; FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Construction support, brownfield modifications experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

Prepare civil and structural calculations for steel and concrete structures.
Perform dynamic and static analysis of structures and supports.
Review designs for new-build and modification projects.
Ensure calculations comply with international codes (AISC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes, ASCE, API) and ADNOC/ARAMCO specs.
Coordinate calculations with drawings, specs, equipment data, piping and other inputs.
