Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Offshore Structural Engineer with extensive experience in offshore structural design and engineering. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise hands‑on design experience and the ability to work across multiple phases of offshore oil and gas projects including conceptual FEED EPC and EPIC.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Perform detailed design and structural analyses for offshore structures such as:
    • Jackets and piled foundations
    • Topside modules and integrated decks
    • Bridges and flare structures
    • Pipeline risers
    • Installation engineering (float‑over/float‑off)
  • Conduct in‑depth constructability reviews and provide engineering support for brownfield modifications.
  • Carry out weight control engineering including estimates, monitoring and reporting.
  • Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with client and international standards.
  • Interface with project teams, client representatives, certification authorities, subcontractors and global work‑share offices to ensure smooth execution of deliverables.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables meet project quality, safety and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute technical expertise throughout all project phases: conceptual FEED, detailed design, EPC and EPIC.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers, promoting technical excellence within the team.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.E./) in Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • Master's degree (M.E./) in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • 13‑17 years of relevant experience in offshore structural engineering.
  • Proven hands‑on experience in offshore structural design and engineering analysis.
  • Strong technical foundation with excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (SACS, USFOS, etc.).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international design codes (API RP 2A, AISC, ISO, etc.).
  • Familiarity with OPCO/client standards (e.g., ADNOC, TOTAL, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in both new design and modification projects (greenfield & brownfield).
  • Solid background in weight control engineering and constructability reviews.
