JOB PURPOSE:

The Sr. Officer is responsible for processing all the applications with regard to Investment product’s Subscription, Redemption, Corporate Actions, and Security Transfers, ensuring the process is adhered to Bank compliance, Policies, and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Minimize error rates.
  2. Increase process efficiency.
  3. Improvement in TAT.
  4. Feedback from Stakeholders, by way of Client Satisfaction Index scores.
  5. Adherence to Bank’s policies, processes, and procedures.

Job Context:

Core Responsibilities

  1. Handling of the WM Investments Helpdesk.
  2. Receipt and processing of the Investment Subscription and Redemption documents for all investment products in Wealth Management system (alpha) and provider websites (SNG).
  3. Trade Processing, Trade Settlements, Input of Manual Trades, and other exceptions.
  4. Client Import in Alpha (SNG).
  5. Input of Investment Cash Account Opening/Closure, Portfolio Creation/Closure, and Account Maintenance activities.
  6. Mapping the RM to the concerned clients in Citrix (SNG).
  7. Call back validation for deals (SNG).
  8. Price Feed upload in Alpha (SNG).
  9. IPO/New Issuance processing.
  10. Funds transfer to Providers for Other Products & Mutual Funds.
  11. Advisory Cash Account transfers and funds block/unblock in T24.
  12. AMC Maker on Alpha (SNG).
  13. Liaise with the various units like Credit Admin / TED / Private Banking Operations / FCIS / Transaction Banking Operations / Compliance for processing activities.
  14. Participate in all process improvement initiatives to bring efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Additional tasks assigned by the Department Supervisor/Manager.

Internal Collaboration

  1. Develop positive relationships with interconnected departments (PBCAD, Products, IT, Sales Coordinators) in order to provide better service and meet customer expectations.
  2. Coordinating with Internal users and IT team regarding system issues and resolving them to enhance the system.

Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures

  1. Initiate ideas for new process developments and existing process enhancements and ensure they are implemented with the correct approval procedure adhering to Bank’s rules and regulations.

MIS and Reports

  1. Prepare periodic MIS/Business Reports for wealth operations which detail the complete activities performed by the team.

People Management Responsibilities

  1. Share knowledge and train another team member about the particular process or activity during cross-training and job rotation.

Minimum Qualification

  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounts or equivalent.
