JOB PURPOSE:

Perform back-office tasks such as account maintenance and account opening for Retail, ELITE & GPB (Islamic & Conventional) segments, SME for Islamic segment/NHL, and CCQ data entry, etc., as per the process and guidelines provided by the Operations & WAH Centre Leadership.

Ensure high-quality standards are maintained, uphold financial and reputational integrity, and assist in meeting business expectations related to transaction processes to provide better services.

Possess a strong team spirit and foster a motivated environment.

Job PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure punctuality and discipline.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in all training programs and development opportunities provided by the bank/FAB Business School.
  • Perform functions with integrity, efficiency, and ensure turnaround times meet service level agreements.
  • Establish effective communication with internal and external departments.
  • Review and validate documents received from branches/sales before processing within the agreed TAT.
  • Update status and reasons for rejection via email or Workflow system.
  • Support additional work or processes as assigned by management to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stay updated with new regulations and obligations by the Central Bank of UAE.
  • Resolve customer complaints by providing solutions and following up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Receive feedback from team leaders, supervisors, managers, and trainers professionally, encouraging a supportive work environment.
  • Assist line managers in implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Follow internal, statutory guidelines, and procedures strictly to ensure compliance and pass audits.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School / Diploma in any discipline. 1–2 years of experience in back-office or front-line desk roles; candidates without experience will also be considered.
  • Customer Service, Product Knowledge, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Market Knowledge, Documentation Skills, Listening, Conflict Resolution, Multi-tasking.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and/or Arabic.
  • Team player.
  • Knowledge of bank operations and administration.
  • Good system and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
