Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for an opportunity in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on comprehensive women’s healthcare across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal stages, with diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions.

Qualifications

• Specialist obstetrician/gynecologist qualification required (Arab Board, MRCOG or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in hospital or women’s health clinic.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct obstetric and gynecological consultations.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies.
• Provide antenatal and postnatal care with focus on maternal and fetal well-being.
• Perform Caesarean sections and obstetric procedures within clinical scope.
• Perform gynecological procedures including hysterectomy, laparoscopy, D&C, colposcopy, and fertility-related interventions.
• Diagnose and manage obstetric/gynaecological conditions with appropriate investigations.
• Collaborate with midwives, neonatologists, anaesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate with Arabic-speaking patients and families about diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records per clinical protocols.
• Participate in departmental audits, CME activities and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and evidence-based practice.
