Job summary

DeepSource Technologies is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on security operations experience. The role focuses on protecting enterprise networks, especially in financial environments, and requires strong troubleshooting and independent work in critical settings.

You will operate and monitor security infrastructure, coordinate with IT, security, and vendor teams, and implement policies and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security operations.
• Experience in enterprise network security technologies within financial environments.
• CCNA/CCNP certification is a strong plus.
• Candidate must hold at least two relevant professional certifications at joining.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network security infrastructure.
• Support security solutions in a financial environment, ensuring high availability and security.
• Perform incident troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of network security issues.
• Implement security policies, configurations, changes, and upgrades in accordance with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with internal IT, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams when required.
• Support security incidents and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in network engineering and application delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong operational and troubleshooting experience across enterprise network security technologies and be able to work independently in a business‑critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network security infrastructure.
• Manage and support security solutions in a financial environment, ensuring high availability and security.
• Perform incident troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of network security issues.
• Implement security policies, configurations, changes, and upgrades in accordance with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with internal IT, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams when required.
• Support security incidents and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in network engineering and application delivery.
• Routing & Switching: Solid background in Cisco networking. CCNA/CCNP certification is a strong plus.
• Strong hands‑on operational experience with:

• Palo Alto Networks Firewalls

• Forescout NAC – Good to have
• Proofpoint Email Security / Mail Gateway – Good to have
• Candidate must hold at least two relevant professional certifications at the time of joining.
