Job summary

DataOne is seeking a Senior Network Architect to define and maintain target network architecture across LAN, WAN, data centers, and remote sites. You will design segmentation, routing, redundancy, and documentation to ensure high availability for critical applications.

You will lead security and resilience efforts, implement secure remote access, 802.1X, RADIUS, and zero-trust concepts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Networks, Telecommunications, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in network engineering or architecture
• Proven experience managing multi-site/data center networks
• Strong experience designing and operating highly available infrastructures
• Industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, Fortinet NSE or equivalent are a plus
• Preferred languages: English/French

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target network architecture across LAN, WAN, data centers, and remote sites
• Design segmentation strategies using VLAN, VRF, and micro segmentation
• Define redundancy and failover architectures for high availability
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for topologies, addressing, and cabling
• Lead proofs of concept and technical evaluations
• Define and enforce firewall policies and secure remote access (VPN, SD-WAN, zero-trust)
• Contribute to continuity and resilience through redundant links and recovery procedures
• Plan maintenance windows, firmware upgrades, and equipment replacements
• Automate provisioning and configuration management using Ansible or equivalent
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams for multi-site deployments
