Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (.NET) to work on-site in Abu Dhabi on digital transformation projects building secure, scalable public sector solutions.

The role focuses on designing and implementing backend services and REST APIs using C# / ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and SQL, while collaborating with Analysts, Solution Architects, frontend and QA engineers to deliver features end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Commercial backend experience with C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core, Web API).
• Strong EF Core and relational DB knowledge (SQL Server / PostgreSQL).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid OOP/SOLID knowledge and design patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and unit testing frameworks.
• Agile team experience and clear communication with stakeholders.
• English level Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and REST APIs for the case management platform.
• Implement case lifecycle, routing, statuses, SLAs and notifications.
• Integrate with internal systems and third-party services.
• Design/optimize database structures and queries (EF Core, SQL).
• Ensure code quality with tests, reviews, and standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, solution architects, frontend and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily ceremonies.
• Support releases and production issue resolution.
