Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East invites an experienced Consultant Neonatologist to lead advanced NICU care in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on critically ill neonates, prematurity, and high-risk deliveries with leadership in multidisciplinary teams and complex neonatal procedures.

The position requires fellowship-trained neonatology with expertise in resuscitation, invasive procedures, and airway management, supported by a commitment to clinical governance and education.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent with Board Certification in Pediatrics and Neonatology fellowship.
• Minimum five years at Consultant Neonatologist level in Level III/IV NICU.
• Extensive experience in resuscitation, airway management, ventilator support and invasive procedures.
• Experience in tertiary-care hospitals and neonatal research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level care for premature, critically ill and medically complex newborns in the NICU.
• Lead neonatal resuscitation and ventilation management in delivery rooms and ICU.
• Coordinate care with obstetricians, pediatrics subspecialists and surgeons.
• Mentor junior physicians and NICU nursing staff; participate in quality improvement and clinical governance.
