A degree in engineering or physical science, as well as experience with NAPA or Seasafe, are required. The pioneering service, which was the first of its kind and has been in operation for more than 30 years, provides round the clock access to technical advice for the maritime community in the event that of a shipboard emergency such as flooding, grounding, explosion or a loss in stability, etc.
