Job summary

Ijar in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced mobile crane operator to lift, move and position heavy materials with precision and strict safety adherence.

You will conduct pre-operation inspections, read load charts, and coordinate with ground crew using hand signals or radios to ensure on-site safety and efficient lifting operations.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of mobile crane experience (GCC preferred), a high school diploma, and a valid NCCCO/CCO certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating mobile cranes in construction, mining, or industrial settings (including any GCC country).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications in crane operation preferred.
• Valid mobile crane operator certification (e.g., NCCCO, CCO) mandatory to ensure professional competency.
• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and load charts, with strong analytical skills for problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials with precision, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintenance checks on the crane to confirm optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with the ground crew using hand signals or radios to coordinate movements and maintain safety on site.
• Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and schematics to determine proper lifting techniques and equipment requirements.
