Job summary

Cander, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design and deployment of advanced AI models across two strategic initiatives: automated requirements engineering using LLMs and Intelligent Supply Chain analytics.

You will own end-to-end lifecycle from data prep to secure on-prem deployment, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and ensure solutions meet defense-grade security and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of ML engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience with defense/regulatory domains is a plus.
• Agile/Sprint-based development with strong documentation.
• Strong collaboration with data scientists, backend engineers, and domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Lead LLM pipeline design and implementation for regulatory parsing.
• Develop RAG architectures for semantic search over technical docs.
• Engineer advanced prompt strategies for domain tasks.
• Build time-series forecasting for demand and spend.
• Design models for supplier risk based on financial and geopolitical data.
• Create multi-objective optimization for procurement decisions.
• Containerize models for secure on-prem deployment (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Orchestrate automated training/inference pipelines with Kubeflow or MLflow.
• Optimize inference latency via quantization/distillation.
• Implement monitoring for drift and performance with feedback loops.
