Job summary

Workato is seeking a Merchandiser in Al Shamkhah City UAE. The role involves developing and implementing merchandising plans, analyzing market trends, and coordinating with marketing, sales, and operations to ensure plan execution.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business and at least 5 years of merchandising experience, with knowledge of pricing, inventory management, and supplier relationships to maximize sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in merchandising or related field required.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, inventory management systems, and purchasing procedures essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising plans that meet company objectives
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform strategy
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, operations, etc., to ensure successful implementation of plans
• Select merchandise assortment that will attract customers and maximize sales
• Monitor and analyze sales performance of merchandise categories
• Develop relationships with vendors/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Maximize inventory turnover by anticipating customer needs/trends
