Job summary

SearchPlus HR seeks a Specialist/Consultant Medical Oncologist with American Board certification to provide comprehensive, evidence-based cancer care in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a medical degree, American Board Certification, UAE licensing eligibility, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• American Board Certification in Medical Oncology / Hematology & Medical Oncology.
• Eligible for UAE Specialist/Consultant Medical Oncology licence.
• Current professional registration and Good Standing Certificate.
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications as required.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages are an advantage.
• Qualified international doctors who meet UAE licensing requirements are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oncology consultations and cancer care.
• Assess, diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage systemic anti-cancer therapies including chemotherapy, targeted, immunotherapy and hormonal therapy.
• Review and interpret laboratory, pathology and imaging results.
• Monitor treatment response and toxicity.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists and other teams.
• Discuss diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis and follow-up with patients and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and clinical case discussions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow guidelines.
