Job summary

KEO International invites a Mechanical Inspector to join our Abu Dhabi team on a full-time basis. You will inspect mechanical works on site, monitor HVAC, plumbing and related systems, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with at least 9 years of experience, preferably on villa, residential or community projects, and has thorough knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with villa, residential, or community development projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and related mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi standards and authority regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• UAE experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of mechanical works on site per drawings, specs and standards.
• Monitor installation activities for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare inspection reports, snag lists and daily progress updates.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and site teams to resolve issues.
• Verify, test and commission mechanical systems.
• Review method statements and inspection requests.
