Job summary

Penspen in the UAE is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Abu Dhabi to lead and supervise engineering tasks across major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical EPC projects. The role requires strong knowledge of offshore construction, commissioning, operation and startup phases.

You will oversee construction and fabrication activities, ensure compliance with API and ASME standards, and draw on a long track record in mechanical engineering for oil and gas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Twelve years of experience with six in mechanical engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Experience with EPC project lifecycles and offshore construction.
• ARAMCO project experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering tasks and discipline design.
• Manage construction and fabrication activities.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME and industry standards.
