Sundus in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer-CAPEX with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead mechanical projects in power plant environments. The role covers end-to-end activities from design reviews to execution, with emphasis on scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with EPCM/EPC contractors.

Qualifications

• Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets.
• Review fabrication drawings and submittals submitted by contractors.
• Participate in design review meetings with EPCM/EPC contractors and consultants.
• Engineer to perform Mechanical projects in Power plant and handling all project activities from Design reviews to execution, inspections etc.
• Knowledge of Rotating equipment such as Pumps, Centrifugal/Screw compressors etc.

Responsabilités

• Actively monitor project progress against approved schedules and budgets.
• Identify and escalation project scheduling and budget concerns to the line manager and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Review and provide technical input on fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals submitted by contractors.
• Participate in design review meetings with EPCM/EPC contractors and consultants, contributing to design optimization and Value Engineering initiatives.
• Engineer to perform Mechanical projects in Power plant and handling all project activities from Design reviews to execution, inspections etc. as Mechanical engineer.
• Knowledge of Rotating equipment s such as Pumps, Centrifugal/Screw compressors etc.
