Job summary

Safad Trading Establishment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop innovative concepts and create precise CAD models and drawings for mechanical components.

Role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of design experience, and strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA, with a solid portfolio demonstrating previous projects. Collaboration with QA and PM teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 3–5 years of design engineering experience, automotive/aerospace/consumer electronics a plus.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and strong portfolio.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and material selection for design execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts and detailed specifications for mechanical components.
• Create accurate 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate design performance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing QA and project management to maintain design integrity.
