Arquitectonica is an award-winning, design-focused architecture and planning firm with a worldwide practice of 500+ employees located in eleven offices. Our Dubai office is seeking a Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our Middle East team.

Position Description

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail oriented, has a “whatever it takes” attitude, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the AEC industry. Key skills for success include strong interpersonal communication, proposal development, clear writing, visual/graphic design sensibility, creative thinking, and the ability to conduct research and external outreach to identify new project leads. This position in the marketing team requires a level of insight and strategy to project pursuits, working with multiple team members globally to develop Arquitectonica’s approach to specific clients and opportunities. Candidates should be excellent communicators, strategic problem-solvers, and results driven team players.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Reports to the Managing Director of the Middle East and Asia offices in coordination with the Director of Marketing, located in Miami.
• Prospecting, tracking, and reporting of business leads (Deltek Vantagepoint)
• Researching potential pursuits and leads, reporting next steps to leadership including weekly tracking, keeping everyone on schedule for delivery
• Tracking and maintaining pre-qualifications, registrations
• Working with leadership and senior staff to produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations
• Consultant coordination and management during the pursuit process
• Preparing tailored brochures and other marketing materials for new clients or work
• Preparing and updating corporate requirements (resumes, brochures, etc.)
• Research, design, write and produce marketing materials, specific to project pursuits in alignment with the firm’s brand
• Manage regional social media channels under the direction of the Managing Director, in coordination with the Director of Marketing, ensuring consistent brand voice and engagement.
• Coordinate with the Director of Marketing to work within the firm’s CRM System as it relates to pursuits and new business

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, architecture, or an equivalent level of experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an AEC marketing position
• Experience in an Architecture/Engineering/Construction firm is required
• Applicants should be proficient in InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel as well as have an understanding of Deltek Vantagepoint and OpenAsset
• The candidate must be able to manage a proposal from beginning to end with little oversight.
• Experience in Dubai and/ or the Middle East preferred

Additional Experience and Skills Desired

• Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Spoken and written proficiency of Arabic a plus.
• Ability to work independently
• Strong sense of architectural and graphic design
• In depth knowledge of the local and global architectural industry
