Job summary

Equiti in Dubai is seeking a Market and Credit Risk Manager to join our Risk Management team. The role focuses on advanced credit and market risk analysis, building tools and insights to measure and mitigate risk in our growing fintech operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of risk experience, strong technical skills in Python, SQL and VBA, and a deep understanding of financial markets, risk metrics and valuation techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in risk management with emphasis on market and credit risk.
• Proficient in Python, SQL and VBA for modeling and automation.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, risk metrics, valuation techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Certifications such as FRM, CFA, or SCA risk management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess credit risk implications of new products, business initiatives, and changes to existing activities.
• Develop quantitative frameworks to evaluate credit exposures, loss scenarios and capital requirements.
• Design, develop and maintain internal risk dashboards and automate risk reporting using Python/SQL.
• Contribute to risk governance, policies, and management reporting to support senior leadership.
