Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Dubai is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for our Valuation and Modelling & Economics practice, focusing on Financial Services (BCM, Insurance, WAM). You will lead strategic analyses, build financial models and deliver client-ready insights across transactions and non-transaction work.

The ideal candidate brings 7–12 years of valuation experience, IFRS expertise, strong business development skills and a track record of partnering with FS clients to create measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business and 7–12 years of related valuation work experience.
• In-depth understanding of valuation methodologies, market assessment, market sizing, feasibility and business plans.
• Financial modelling skills including building models from scratch.
• Strong understanding of FS institutions’ balance sheets and operating models.
• Broad understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value, business combinations, impairment testing.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business drivers and co-develop the approach with the client, agreeing value measurements.
• Support FS sector clients in defining strategic objectives through strategic analysis and transaction execution.
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables (Excel data books, written reports, presentations) and client discussions.
• Identify opportunities to sell additional services to clients.
