Unknown Company in Dubai seeks an experienced live entertainment director to coordinate shows with Production, Technical, and Wardrobe teams, ensuring park requirements and high-quality performances.

Ideal candidates hold a university degree in Dance or Theatre with 5+ years directing live entertainment in parks, theatres, or events. Strong scripting, choreography, and costume development are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree or professional training in Dance or Theatre.
• Experience directing live entertainment shows, productions, or events in theme parks, theatres, festivals, or special events.
• Strong knowledge of scriptwriting, live stage production, choreography, costume design/development, and video/audio production.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Entertainment Director by coordinating with Production Manager, Technical Manager, and Wardrobe Manager to ensure shows meet park requirements.
• Directs assistant show directors, performance captains, junior choreographers, and live show staff.
• Develops and documents processes for show development including scripts, blocking, music, and recordings.
• May contribute creative input on special events and external rental/corporate events.
• Maintains library of resource materials for production and creative development of entertainment.
• Leads creative efforts for marquee events and seasonal productions.
• Ensures environmental health and safety compliance.
• Develops cross-training and seasonal promotion opportunities for staff and cast members.

Responsibilities

Supports the Entertainment Director by working closely with Production Manager Technical Manager and Wardrobe Manager to ensure shows are produced and presented taking all park requirements in to consideration Responsible for artistic creative elements of all live daily productions through development operation and perpetual enhancement Manages and directs assistant show directors performance captains junior choreographers and all other live show staff Develops and documents all processes and procedures for the development of the shows including scripts blocking charts music recordings and any other materials used to produce the shows May be responsible for creative input on special events and external rental corporate events Maintains library of resource materials associated with production and creative development of entertainment Leads creative effort for marquee events and seasonal productions Understand and actively participate in environmental health amp safety compliance Develop cross training and seasonal promotion opportunities for staff and cast members Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Management Tea University degree, diploma, or professional training in Dance or Theatre; Master s in Theatrical Studies or Business Administration is desirable.Minimum 5 years of professional experience directing live entertainment shows, productions, or events in theme parks, theatres, festivals, or special events.Strong knowledge of scriptwriting, live stage production, choreography, costume design/development, and themed live shows; video/audio production experience preferred.Professional training in dance, stunts, or acting, with strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and multi-project management skills.Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related tools; music editing/mixing, Photoshop, and video editing skills desirable.
