Responsibilities
- Designs scalable secure and user-centric technology solutions for digital channels such as websites, mobile apps and self-service kiosks.
- Bridges business objectives, user experience and technical feasibility to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and deliver long-term business value.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, UX, data specialists and vendors to shape product roadmaps and guide solution delivery.
- Defines and manages both high-level and detailed solution designs; selects appropriate technology stacks and ensures adherence to non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability).
- Leads system integration efforts defining APIs, data flows and interfaces for seamless connectivity between digital products and core enterprise systems (e.g. DXP, CRM, CMS, CDP, DAM).
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams and vendors ensuring compliance with architectural best practices, security and risk management.
- Partners with business stakeholders to capture requirements, present technical concepts in accessible language and participate in vendor selection and solution evaluation processes.
- Enforces architectural governance standards and regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, PCI-DSS, WCAG) and maintains architecture documentation and roadmaps.
- Drives continuous improvement and technology innovation by staying updated on emerging trends, recommending new solutions and contributing to organizational communities of practice.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in IT/Computer Science/Engineering, 12 years total IT experience, 5–7 years in solution/software architecture for digital platforms (aviation or B2C preferred) and relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, Azure/AWS Solution Architect, Agile/Scrum).
