Job summary

EY in the MENA region is seeking a Senior Manager within Digital Risk Consulting to lead high-impact client engagements across the GCC. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, shape risk strategy around technology, and help clients strengthen governance, security, and resilience in complex digital ecosystems.

Ideal candidates bring 12–15 years in IT risk consulting or equivalent, with a proven track record in the GCC. A masters in CS/IS and relevant certifications are highly valued.

• Proven track record in MENA/GCC with key clients and sectors.

Your key responsibilities

You will help our clients evaluate and enhance their business; with a focus on managing the risk arising from ongoing technology developments and the resultant fast-paced changes in their business and operational processes.

To make that happen you will need a strong team and internal network to leverage our intellectual property and lessons learned.

Whether it is working with multiple client teams advising the clients on Digital Risk related matters or actively working EY account teams and partners in business development activities across various sectors you will build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your clients.

To qualify for the role you must have.

Proven track record of success in the MENA/GCC region with key clients and industry sectors.

A masters degree in computer science information systems or a related discipline. Alternatively a degree in business accounting or finance with additional IT qualifications.

Masters degree will be preferable.

12-15 years of relevant experience of working as an IT risk consultant for a professional services firm or a public accounting firm or as a senior executive of a technology company a financial services company telecom company or comparable experience as an IT/IS expert.

Relevant experience areas include a combination of Digital Risk Management Business Continuity Management IT Disaster Recovery Management Crisis Management Third Party Risk Management Technology Compliance Management Technology Asset Management Mobile Technology Emerging Technologies (Robotics IoT Cloud and Blockchain) ERP Controls (SAP Oracle MS Dynamics) Technical Controls Management for IT Systems and Networking technologies Data Analytics IT/Business Process & Controls Management IT/IS Internal Audit and/or Third-Party Reporting etc.

Strong skills in project management team management and client service.

Strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills.

A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally you will also have

CISA CBCP CISSP IRM CISM and/or CIA certification is essential for long-term growth in the role; Based on an individuals professional background area of specialization or industry focus we recognize that other certifications credentials or experience may be more relevant than the listed certifications and therefore may be acceptable.
