Job summary

Ernst & Young AE in the United Arab Emirates seeks an IT risk consultant to guide clients through digital risk management and technology-driven changes. You will leverage EY IP and knowledge to deliver excellent service, becoming a trusted advisor across client teams and EY partners.

Travel to meet client needs and lead engagements with strong project management, client service, and team development. You will work with emerging technologies to strengthen controls and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline
• 12-15 years of relevant IT risk consulting experience
• Certifications such as CISA, CBCP, CISSP, CISM, CIA may be essential

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and knowledge focusing on complex judgmental and specialized issues related to technology-related risks for clients
• Build and maintain relationships with client management, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery and collections
• Collaborate with EY teams across sectors to advise on Digital Risk engagements and support business development initiatives

You will help our clients evaluate and enhance their business with a focus on managing the risk arising from ongoing technology developments and the resultant fast-paced changes in their business and operational processes To make that happen you will need a strong team and internal network to leverage our intellectual property and lessons learned Everything you will be involved in comes down to providing excellent customer service and guiding EY teams do the same Whether it is working with multiple client teams advising the clients on Digital Risk related matters or actively working EY account teams and partners in business development activities across various sectors you will build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your clients

To qualify for the role, you must have

Proven track record of success in the MENA/GCC region with key clients and industry sectors.A master s degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline. Alternatively, a degree in business, accounting, or finance, with additional IT qualifications. Master s degree will be preferable.12-15 years of relevant experience of working as an IT risk consultant for a professional services firm or a public accounting firm, or as a senior executive of a technology company, a financial services company, telecom company, or comparable experience as an IT/IS expert.Relevant experience areas include a combination of Digital Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Disaster Recovery Management, Crisis Management, Third Party Risk Management, Technology Compliance Management, Technology Asset Management, Mobile Technology, Emerging Technologies (Robotics, IoT, Cloud and Blockchain), ERP Controls (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), Technical Controls Management for IT Systems and Networking technologies, Data Analytics, IT/Business Process & Controls Management, IT/IS Internal Audit, and/or Third-Party Reporting, etc.Strong skills in project management, team management, and client service.Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.A willingness to travel to meet client needs.Ideally, you will also haveCISA, CBCP, CISSP, IRM, CISM, and/or CIA certification is essential for long-term growth in the role; Based on an individual s professional background, area of specialization or industry focus, we recognize that other certifications, credentials, or experience may be more relevant than the listed certifications and therefore may be acceptable.
