Job summary

Inception42, a G42 company, seeks a Senior IT Manager to lead strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. You will oversee hybrid environments, cloud services, endpoint security, and compliance programs while guiding vendor relationships and budget planning.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Azure, Entra ID, VDI, Windows 365, and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years IT management experience with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in Azure cloud environments, Entra ID, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Experience with endpoint security tools and firewall/content filtering, VPNs, and SOC/NOC oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, including AD/Entra ID, DNS/DHCP, networking and security.
• Manage Azure environments, Entra ID, VDI, and Windows 365 deployments.
• Lead ISO, SOC2, GDPR, and HIPAA programs and certification efforts.
• Oversee SOC/NOC operations to maintain cybersecurity posture for AI-driven orgs.
• Ensure high availability of VDI and cloud-based workspaces, plus on-prem/cloud integration.
• Enforce InfoSec policies and endpoint controls (CrowdStrike, Defender) and firewall rules.
• Lead patch management and vulnerability programs aligned with NIST/ISO standards.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and MSPs to meet SLAs for IT services.
• Monitor service delivery and resolve escalations; manage IT budgets and training.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate on-prem and cloud systems; support office IT
• Support complex IT issues to minimize downtime and maximize user satisfaction.

Senior Manager - Information Technology

Position Overview

TheSenior IT Managerwill lead the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, robust cybersecurity, and alignment with business goals. This role requires expertise in managing hybrid workspaces, vendor relationships, network/application maintenance, and cybersecurity frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Forcepoint), cloud platforms (Azure, Windows 365), and infrastructure components (AD/Entra ID, VDIs, firewalls).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level solutions for endpoint and workplace management, encompassing user devices, and core enterprise services such as Active Directory, domain management, DNS, DHCP, networking, security, network devices, and WiFi infrastructure.
• Oversee Azure cloud environments, including management of Entra ID (Azure AD), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Windows 365 (W365) deployments.
• Demonstrate proven experience in guiding organizations through ISO, SOC2, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance and certification processes.
• Manage Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Network Operations Centers (NOC), ensuring a robust cybersecurity posture for AI-driven organizations
• Ensure high availability and performance ofVDI environmentsand cloud-based workspaces.
• Implement and enforceInfoSec policies, including endpoint security controls (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender), firewalls, and content filtering for endpoints
• Leadpatch and vulnerability managementprograms to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships withvendors, suppliers, and MSPsto meet SLAs for hardware, software, and cloud services.
• Monitor service delivery performance and resolve escalations promptly.
• Oversee the deployment, licensing, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications and software.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of on-premises and cloud systems.
• Partner with facility teams to maintain IT infrastructure in office locations (e.g., network cabling, power management).
• Provide support for complex IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime and highcustomer satisfaction.
• Develop IT budgets, resource plans, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree incomputer science, IT, or related field(Master’s preferred).
• 15+ yearsof IT management experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Must possess strong people management abilities.
• Proven expertise in managingAzure cloud environments, Entra ID, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Experience with CrowdStrike, Forcepoint, Microsoft Defender, firewalls), content filtering, AD/Entra ID, VDIs, W365, patch management (e.g., SCCM, Intune), vulnerability scanners, Wi‑Fi management, VPNs, SD-WAN, network monitoring tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus oncustomer satisfaction.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience.
